Mathew holds Bachelor of Technology in Textiles from Moi University, Post graduate Diploma in Education from Kenyatta University, and Currently pursuing Masters in Design (Fashion Design) in Machakos University.  

Message from the Performance Contracting Office

Mwala Technical and Vocational College is proud to be committed to quality and performance excellence through the adoption of Performance Contracting. The College embarked on the journey of Performance Contracting during the 2022/2023 financial year, a year after it was founded in with a clear vision to improve institutional efficiency, accountability, and transparency in service delivery.

The introduction of Performance Contracting at Mwala Technical and Vocational College was driven by the need to align with national goals and to ensure that public institutions effectively utilize resources, deliver on mandates, and continuously improve performance. This approach provides a strategic framework through which the College evaluates, monitors, and reports on key deliverables and outcomes.

Through the Performance Contracting, the college set targets have significantly shaped the college both in physical structures and academic through hands-on skill not forgetting the development of college policies.

Customer satisfaction remains at the heart of all the College’s activities. The Management is fully committed to ensuring that customer needs and expectations are identified, fulfilled, and reviewed regularly to enhance satisfaction levels.

As the Management Representative, I would like to recognize and appreciate the unwavering support of the Board of Governors and the College Administration in embracing this transformative approach. Their leadership and dedication have played a crucial role in steering the institution towards achieving measurable performance outcomes.

Furthermore, I commend the staff of Mwala Technical and Vocational College for their active participation and dedication in the development and implementation of the Performance Contracting document. Their teamwork and commitment have been instrumental in creating a results-driven culture within the institution.

Together, we remain committed to the continuous improvement of our services, and to positioning Mwala Technical and Vocational College as a leading institution in the provision of competency-based training, innovation, and customer-centered service delivery.
